Students have been using the ipad to create math videos.  These videos are a way to demonstrate math understanding and learning. Essentially, students are showing they know the math concept, skill or procedure by 'teaching' them to others via the ipad.

We will likely add to this collection as the year goes on.

Did You See the New Page?

I have added a new page tab to the top of the site. This page is going to be dedicated to Junior Math support. On this page I may include math tutorials (like those from the Khan Academy) and math gaming links or any other good math site I find that corresponds to the math we are currently looking at in class.

The material may be used for as a teaching aid, for student reference, for practice.

Click on the tab above to find the math materials!

You could also click on the cool math picture on the side bar, too. :)

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that my role is shifting from strictly Primary SERT to Primary SERT + Learning Centre SERT.

So I will now also be seeing a few students in the junior grades!

The focus of this website will thus shift a little bit as time goes on.

Please keep checking in to reference favourite sites like Spelling City and Raz-Kids or to find new information!
